Member analytics is the reporting view inside Manage Marketplace that shows how your community uses your job board over time. New members, sign-ins and applications are charted so you can see whether engagement is climbing or flat. Bootcamps and outplacement teams get evidence for funders and clients without building a spreadsheet.

What member analytics gives you

The charts sit alongside the metrics you already had. Where the existing dashboards answer what is happening right now, the analytics view answers what has been happening over a period, and the two charts are linked so zooming one zooms the other.

  • New members, sign-ins and applications plotted over time, with zoomable linked charts.
  • Engagement figures covering visits, unique visitors and role views.
  • Role figures covering total, active and closed roles plus employers.
  • Applicant figures covering applications, applicants, interviews and placements.
  • Data scoped to your own board only, never pooled with anyone else's.
  • Everything exports to CSV in one click.

Figures refresh daily, so a Monday report reflects the week that just finished rather than a live counter that moves while you are reading it.

What it means for your community

Members do not see any of this, and that is the point. What they notice is the second-order effect, which is a team that can tell who has gone quiet.

An outplacement provider is judged on time to placement, and volume spikes arrive without warning when a client announces redundancies. When the applications line for a cohort flattens in week three, that is a signal to intervene while it still matters, rather than discovering at the end of a contract that a group of candidates never really got going. Consultants spend their time on the people who need it instead of spreading themselves evenly across a caseload.

A skills bootcamp has a different reporting problem. Placement rate is the number funders, learners and accreditors judge the programme on, and the evidence usually has to be assembled by hand at the worst possible moment. Having sign-ins and applications already charted per cohort means the evidence is a download rather than a fortnight of chasing.

The same charts are useful in the other direction. A cohort that signs in steadily but rarely applies is telling you the roles reaching them are not close enough to what they trained for, which is a job stream scoping question. A cohort that applies heavily but converts poorly is telling you something about interview preparation instead. Two very different responses, and without the pattern over time both look identical from a single week's numbers.

What it means for your team

Board reporting stops being a project. The figures a funder or a client asks for are already collected, already charted and already exportable, which means the conversation moves from assembling numbers to interpreting them.

It also settles arguments about what is working. If the automated job stream is bringing in roles but applications are not moving, that is a matching or a communication problem rather than a supply problem, and the charts tell you which. Announcement cards, filtered links and match emails can then be aimed at the gap rather than fired at everyone.

For per-application progress rather than totals, Application Status Tracking is available as an add-on at £40 per month, listed on the pricing page and correct as at July 2026.

Can other organisations see our numbers?

No. Analytics are scoped to your own board. You see your members, your sign-ins and your applications, and nobody outside your admin team sees them at all. If you run several boards, each one reports separately rather than being rolled into a single blended figure, which matters when different cohorts or regions are funded by different people.

Getting started

Analytics live under Manage Marketplace, in the Analytics area alongside your existing metrics. There is nothing to switch on and no historic gap to backfill. The marketplace admin guide shows the metrics view screen by screen and the knowledge base covers exporting. The original ship note is in the member analytics changelog entry.

If reporting is the reason you are looking at all, the job board for outplacement services and job board for skills bootcamps pages both cover outcome tracking in more depth. Spacewalk runs a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
