Which cookies we use, what they track and how to change your preferences at any time.
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Some are needed for a site to work at all. Others are optional, and are used to measure how a site is being used or to run features like live chat. This page explains which cookies this site uses, what each one is for and how to change your mind at any time.
We ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary, as the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require. Consent is the legal basis, not legitimate interests. Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent, and we set only one of those.
When you first visit this site you are asked to accept or decline optional cookies. Nothing optional is loaded until you make a choice, and declining is as easy as accepting. Your choice is remembered across pages and visits, and you can change it whenever you like using the cookie settings link on the site.
There are three categories. Essential cannot be turned off, because without it the site cannot remember what you chose. Analytics and Support are both optional and both start switched off. Within each of them you can also accept or decline individual services.
Analytics tells us how the site is being used, for example which pages get visited and where people run into problems, so that we can improve it. Nothing in this category is used for advertising.
Support runs the live chat widget so you can message us from the site. Decline it and the chat widget will not appear.
If you withdraw consent later, the cookies set under the category you turned off are deleted.
spacewalk_site_cookie_consent. This is the only strictly necessary cookie we set. It remembers which categories and which individual services you have accepted or declined, so that we do not have to ask you again on every page. It is set by us, is used only on this site, and lasts 182 days. We use no other browser storage for this.
Forms
Some features of this site are provided by other companies. Those that set cookies are grouped into the two optional categories below and none of them loads until you accept that category. You can also accept a category while declining an individual service within it. Durations for third party cookies are set by those providers and are described in their own policies, which are linked below.

Clicky, provided by Roxr Software Ltd, is a second and lighter analytics tool. It sets cookies named _jsuid and _first_pageview. Analytics category. Its policy is at https://clicky.com/terms/privacy
Tawk.to provides the live chat widget. It sets cookies whose names begin __tawk. Support category. Its policy is at https://www.tawk.to/privacy-policy/
Netlify hosts the animated marketplace demos embedded on our home page and our Job Ready Talent pages. These set no cookies and use no browser storage, so they sit outside the categories above, but Netlify receives your IP address when your browser loads them. Its policy is at https://www.netlify.com/privacy/
We also load fonts, icons and code libraries from providers including Google Fonts, Font Awesome and jsDelivr, so that the site displays and behaves correctly. These set no cookies, but the provider receives your IP address when your browser requests the file.
You can decline optional cookies using the cookie settings on this site, or block them in your browser. The cookie settings are the more precise option, because they let you turn off individual services while leaving the one strictly necessary cookie that remembers your choice. Blocking all cookies in your browser will affect this site and most others you visit.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under privacy or site settings. The exact steps differ between browsers and change between versions, so the most reliable instructions are the ones in your own browser's help pages. Note that browser settings are separate from the cookie settings on this site and are not as precise, because they apply to every site rather than to individual services.
